(A): The crucial
difference between a traditional Jewish person, who seeks with all his heart to
honour the Law of Moses, and that of a Messianic Jew is,
a person. And that person is the person
of Yeshua of Nazareth (Jesus) the Messiah.
He is the great stumbling block.
It is His Person that makes the distinction between a believing Jew and
a non-believing Jew. And as Simeon said
to Joseph and Mary, as he cradled the month-old baby Yeshua in his arms, “Behold
this Child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a
sign which shall be spoken against;” which is terribly true today. |
